REIKI Sessions
Gentle Energy Healing for Regulation, Restoration, & Balance
A Restorative Approach to Regulation and Balance
Reiki is a subtle, non-invasive energy healing practice that supports the body’s natural capacity for balance, restoration, and regulation.
I am a Usui Reiki Master in the lineage of Mikao Usui and a certified Animal Reiki Practitioner through the International Center for Reiki Training (ICRT).
Reiki sessions are gentle and deeply calming. Clients often describe feeling:
Grounded and centered
Emotionally lighter
Physically relaxed
Clearer and more focused
Restored after stress or burnout
Reiki is a complementary wellness practice and does not replace medical, psychological, or veterinary care.
What Is Reiki?
Reiki (pronounced ray-key) originated in Japan in the early 20th century through the teachings of Mikao Usui.
The word Reiki is traditionally understood as:
Rei — Universal, spiritually guided wisdom
Ki — Life force energy
Across cultures, this life force energy has been described by many names — chi, prana, breath, vitality, spirit. Reiki works with this universal life force energy in a gentle, structured way to support balance and the body’s natural healing response.
Universal & Inclusive
Reiki is not a religion and does not require any specific belief system.
People of all backgrounds — religious, spiritual, agnostic, or secular — receive Reiki comfortably. Because Reiki works with universal life force energy, it is inherently inclusive and adaptable to your personal framework.
Clients may approach Reiki as:
A spiritual practice
An energetic wellness modality
A nervous system regulation tool
A restorative relaxation experience
A complement to medical or psychological care
All approaches are welcome.
From a contemporary lens, Reiki can also be understood as creating conditions for:
Parasympathetic nervous system activation
Deep relaxation and restoration
Co-regulation and felt safety
Emotional settling
Energetic balance
Often, when the body feels safe, it begins to reorganize naturally.
Reiki Sessions
Sessions may support:
Stress reduction
Emotional regulation
Recovery from burnout
Pre-performance centering
Integration after intense experiences
Spiritual growth and clarity
Reiki integrates naturally with somatic awareness, breathwork, meditation, and holistic peak performance coaching.
Sessions are available as:
Standalone energy healing sessions
Add-ons to coaching intensives
Integration support following retreats or workshops
Animal Reiki Sessions (ICRT)
Animal Reiki is a gentle, consent-based practice that supports animals in relaxation, stress reduction, and natural balance.
As a certified Animal Reiki Practitioner through the International Center for Reiki Training (ICRT), I follow a non-invasive, animal-led approach. Animals are never restrained and are free to engage or disengage.
Animal Reiki may support:
Anxiety and stress
Transition periods (new home, illness, aging)
Behavioral tension
Recovery and resilience
Deepening human-animal connection
Animal Reiki complements veterinary care and does not replace medical treatment.
Sessions may be conducted in person (location dependent) or remotely when appropriate.
What to Expect
Reiki Sessions
Sessions typically last around 60 minutes
You remain fully clothed
Hands are placed just above the body within your auric field
The session is quiet, calm, and restorative with gentle music and some elements of sound healing infused
Most clients report a sense of deep relaxation, clarity, or emotional settling afterward. Some experience warmth, subtle sensations, or a feeling of energetic movement. Others simply feel rested and centered.
Animal Reiki Sessions
Sessions typically last between 20-40 minutes
Conducted in a calm, low-stimulation environment
Animals are free to move, rest, or disengage
Sessions are animal-led and consent-based
May be offered in person or remotely
The primary goal is relaxation and regulation, allowing the animal’s system to settle naturally.
Training & Lineage
I am a Usui Reiki Master in the lineage of Mikao Usui. My Reiki training and Master-level certification were completed through S.A.G.E. Holistic Wellness under a Reiki Master within the Anne Reith lineage, which emphasizes ethical practice, intuitive development, and grounded spiritual integration.
My Animal Reiki certification is through the International Center for Reiki Training (ICRT), which follows a gentle, consent-based, animal-led approach.
In addition to formal training, I have pursued continued study of Reiki teachings and manuals developed by William Lee Rand to deepen my theoretical understanding and broaden my knowledge of Reiki history and practice.
I approach Reiki with reverence for its traditional roots and a grounded, contemporary understanding of nervous system regulation and holistic wellness.
How Reiki Fits Within My Work
Reiki is part of a broader holistic approach that includes:
Nervous system regulation
Somatic awareness
Breath and meditation practices
Executive functioning and performance optimization
Reiki offers a non-verbal pathway into balance — especially when words or strategies feel insufficient.
“Reiki brings the body and mind into balance.”
